It was like that when I found it
So instead of clicking a shortcut on your phone, the "clever" way to do it is to get the hotel key from wherever you put it last and tap that on the back to launch the same shortcut.

Oh if you have other things you want to trigger? Just carry more cards.

I think I've solved the Drake Paradox: genAI. Species evolve to the point they can train prediction models on the corpus of knowledge they have accumulated. These models are used for everything and so no new knowledge is created. Stagnation follows and they die before we hear from them #ai #genai

Ok, I get it, Gary wants to stop the increasing divide by taxing wealth, and we have examples where that doesn't work. We also have examples where raising taxes on earners and cutting services doesn't work. We are living it. So what is the answer? Status quo?

We already know how governments respond to clear threats: inaction. Look at climate change. Catastrophes are now routine and still no action.

Expect the same with this.

So they are limiting drop off time to 10 minutes because of congestion.

Yet say 95% of dropoffs are less than 10 minutes. So what problem are they actually solving?

To enforce the 10 minute rule tech is needed, which comes at a cost.

Any chance we can stop with the dumb titles? Nobody saw some of the most famous sci fi movies of all time? Is it really hard to be interesting enough to click without this?

I don't get these types of argument. "You can't make a consistent and complete description of reality with algorithms"

So what? Where is the requirement that it has to be complete and consistent?

All it has to do is *appear* to be complete and consistent.

A new study suggests that, at least mathematically speaking, the idea doesn’t hold up, as some facets of reality can’t be explain purely algorithmically.

This is moronic. Making tax policy dependent on a thriving gambling industry, means you will never pass laws to curtail excessive gambling.

Just look to Australia to see how well this turns out.

This sounds dumb to me. You still have to launch the satellites from the ground and are then constrained by the orbit of the platform. Unless it has tugs.

So you need fuel resupply.

We should do it anyway.
