There’s a joke to be made about the prison service somewhere. Hoping someone funnier than I am takes up the slack?

Nah, Brixham.

And boats. Don’t forget the boats.

The wasp landing on a nettle. One of them is getting stung and you don’t care which one…

Nah, 50 years ago it’d have been reading a paper / comic and ignoring each other, 100 years ago it’d be knitting / listening to the radio, 200 years ago Cross-stitch or something. Families have been ignoring people throughout history. Keeps us sane.

Not again.

A bit like flat earthers, I’ve never met anyone like this IRL- Keyboard warriors / bots the lot of them.

Outnumbered vastly by decent people.

I know we shouldn’t engage, but honestly the idea of someone Ukrainian seeing these comment go unchallenged feels so wrong.

Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦, fuck 🇷🇺 & DJT

Credulous moron at the start of a mission to write a douchier comment in the response to the douchiest comment she’s ever seen written. CM appears to limit reading to Russian State Propaganda, so the definition of douche is use here is unclear at this point.

I quite liked it.

I also quite like being able to post a polite opinion to the contrary, because we’re in the good place :0)

It was no Dog Soldiers though.

Yep, another Brit here. This.
June 15, 2025 at 8:27 AM
Although, to be fair- I can be a bit of a d**k

As one of your 62k followers, I must say…. This is awkward :0)

UK income tax bands;
Personal Allowance Up to £12,570 0%
Basic rate £12,571 to £50,270 20%
Higher rate £50,271 to £125,140 40%
Additional rate over £125,140 45%

So the equivalent of $17,000 tax free for everyone…

It it similar in the US, just with different bands?

PSA from the author. Especially enjoyed the last couple of paragraphs

The last line is suitably spicy!
