I stopped by my old neighborhood on the way to lunch with friends, and I found myself completely dumbstruck by how much has changed in the fifteen years I’ve been away. It felt like walking back into someone else’s recollections and dreams, of a version of me that has long since passed into memory.

I wholeheartedly sympathize with anyone needing to travel by air this holiday season. I can only imagine just how much more stressful Thanksgiving week will be for travelers across the country if flights continue to get delayed and cancelled en masse due to the government shutdown.

Liz and I are enjoying some serious nostalgia tonight as we watch the original, despecialized editions of the original Star Wars trilogy. The fact that Projects 4K77, 4K80, and 4K83 exist is a testament to fan efforts to preserve the movies as originally released in theaters, imperfections and all.
