I still remember reading the 39 clues as a result which was a pretty decent series until I realized we didn't have the entire fucking series so I skipped books and just didn't care as much plus for 4th grade it was awful to go through so much in just a week

This always sucked because I used to do it and it made reading fun when I was 9 (and tbf, the diary of a wimpy kid books are literally like 200+ pages regardless), but whenever this happened I would just pick some random series and if I didn't read, I just accepted a 50% or something on the quiz
