I agree completely. I was more think of main character non divine characters as one could argue religious characters are hard to align with modern morals.

to add to the thought ... do we have any evil myths? Like not complicated hero ones but one about villains or monsters or invaders, I mean real bad ** people **?

I have tried to run "evil games" in the past but struggled with the story. We don't have a narrative framework to follow like the hero's journey for evil. There may be other versions but not as well known.
