I’ve long felt bad that I couldn’t get into the books of @chuckwendig.bsky.social Many of the other authors I enjoy praise his works, but they never clicked for some reason. But Black River Orchard is straight 🔥from cover to cover. Time to revisit his catalog with fresh eyes, I think.

I always feel irrational relief when my blood donation makes it through the testing stage... Don't feel sick, no high-risk behavior, but still a sense of validation that it's good enough.

Watched “Will to Win” last night and enjoyed it. Was always a big Jeremy McNeil fan, so was nice to see him featured. Including Bernie Fine was cringy as hell, though. Especially his line about everyone having their idiosyncrasies.
