My daughter lives near Herrington country park at Penshaw, nice place for a walk but unfortunately a planner probably at Sunderland City Council thought this was a good design to stop motorcycles, any fool can see a motorcycle can get over it but my mobility scooter won't🤬 #DisabledAccessDay

hopefully another trip to RSPB st aidan's with @onemantess.bsky.social soon and hopefully track down some bearded reedlings but these black necked grebes are special birds.

lost count of the number of booming bitterns at r.s.p.b st aidan's 19/03/25 .eventually got some decent scope views but here is a typical image of this species.
