Before yer man became obsessed with doing video game movies and booted his mate to the kerb. One day it might be alright again...? Some funny french fellas I love who you'll never have heard of. Signed script of their quite good movie. Was so lucky to pick up one of these when they still sold (and autographed) their DVDs. Havent released any physical media like this since Space Cop in I think 2016, and even then this DVD seemed like such an age ago, think it was around 2012 I got it. Shame they don't do them any more since their popularity exploded.

I was a HUGE fan of Matt Cardona and Bryan Myers Figure Wrestling Federation podcast )listened through 4 times since it came out in 2020). So, when he released this parody version of the AEW 1st edition cards, I thought it was too fun to resist. Memories of the Tivoli... going to independent wrestling shows in Dublin before it went to shit. Some of my favourites who have gone on to have wrestling cards elsewhere (and not very expensive!) Was a big TNA fan in the 04-09 days. Had to pick up some autos of my faves from those days... Particularly chuffed to have a Mike Tenay and especially a Don West auto. RIP big man! Matt Johnson (director of Blackberry) was so lovely and kind to chat to me for 5 mins outside the Dublin International Film Festival showing of his movie, and to sign my Goldeneye for me. If you know Nirvanna the Band, you get it. If not, get to it!

Mentioned on this week's new CSP, my little collection of cards / autographs from stuff I'm into... thread & notes on each in the "ALT" section
So I try to get one autograph card of each of the men's AEW world champions. You might notice, I try to get them from different sets to no two cards look the same... May one day start with the women as well, cos some of them are bloody class. I love Twin Peaks and bought myself a hobby box for my birthday this year. Some, uh... less prominent characters (though the principal who announces Laura's death to the school is kind of iconic), super happy to get a dual auto (and Richard Beymer / Ben Horne too!) It's Lost, it's a bit of John Locke's shirt. My God. So I loved Man Utd since I was a kid, specifically Eric Cantona (hence the auto + the match worn relic). Have also tried to pick up some autos of other players from that era who I was / am fond of.

The artwork for episode 710 of the ChairShot Podcast imagines humorously a world where, instead of Nigel McGuinness, Taz was the AEW commentator chosen to face Zack Sabre Jr at Forbidden Door London. This is because during the episode, host Joe mentions that that would be his preferred matchup. My God it sounds like AI wrote this but honestly it wasn't. If you've made it this far, here's a little easter egg - in my new apartment whoever installed the bathroom window did it wrong, so the handle looks like the window is open, but actually it's closed, and in order to open it you have to move the handle to what typically would be the "closed" position. Oh what a wacky world we live in. Oh well, see you again next week! Love, Paul.
