1/ Europe is embroiled in the bloodiest war since WWII. Ukraine (a European country) has been invaded by Russia (another European country). The neighboring countries such as Poland and the Baltics fear invasion too.

“Europeans” aren’t a single entity like Canada. There are countries that want a harder line on Trump, those that want softer, and those like Hungary who are Trump allies.

There are beautiful coastlines to enjoy but you have to be brave to take a dip. The number of hot days are limited and even then, the sea doesn't really warm up much. And while those pics you've posted are great, the sea is generally more of a greyish hue. Scotland is stunning but not the Caribbean.

While it depends on what you mean by warm/cold and everything's relative, it's basically all cold. The North Sea side tends to be colder than the West Coast because of the Gulf Stream. England's pretty cold too. Generally, you have to go all the way down to the Mediterranean for warm water.

The complacency never seems to go away. There’s an underlying arrogance that feeds the foolishness but the truth is that America is just as vulnerable to autocracy as humans in other times and places.

Biden's policies weren't the problem. It was his oversized ego that screwed the Dems. I honestly believed him when he said he'd stand down after one term and let a younger leader take over.
