Don't know if you have ever been to the Musee D'Orsay but the architecture of this former Paris train station outshines the artworks it contains...imho.

Big thanks to the Killermont Crafters and all the other knitters that brighten our lives with their wonderful creations.

Merry Christmas Colin. Love your architectural stuff but also love your artistic photos. It all shows Glasgow up in a good light.

I only got Sloan's, the Steps and the Tolbooth. And the later one only because you posted about it in the last 24 hours 😂

After years of eating France's finest, I stick to local British cheeses now as they are just amazing. Local to me is Mrs Temples Binham Blue from Norfolk. Its creamier and less strong than Stilton. Also love Baron Bigod from Suffolk...Britain's answer to French Brie de Meaux. Both delicious.

When I was in the military, "Kelvin" was a derogatory nickname for someone who was deemed to be an "absolute zero" 😉

Love a bit of Baron Bigod. Our fantastic British cheeses these days are giving the French a run for their money 👍🇨🇵🇬🇧

That needs to be preserved in some way (in situ) before it rots away.

I love the Glasgow murals and I've got a large selection of them on my website www.giverin.co.uk/Glasgow%20Mu... but I don't think you can leave a derelict site untouched because of an existing mural. I've noticed that some of the murals I first shot 5 years ago look a bit jaded now.

You did well to get that free from obstructions at the base. My own version has cars and groundwork stuff in the way.

Never saw her in Norfolk when she was my MP. The memories of waking up on 5th July last year to find she was gone 👍😄🥂🎇

Exactly the same in my primary schools in Govanhill. Don't think I ever won the pissing competition. That was the domain of the taller boys and the ones with the longer Willy's 😏

The odd thing was, the two large walk in bank vaults were not under the modern bank building. No stairs, only lift access to new building basement and then a 40m walk eastwards under the original 1890's building to the vaults.
