As a Quaker and a pacifist, I don’t invest my savings or pension in arms companies on ethical grounds.

I don’t agree with MP’s who say that arms companies can be regarded as ethical.

@felicityhannah.bsky.social I found your live prog on pensions helpful. We have a SIPP each and track the lifestyle we can expect from our savings.

A Comfortable lifestyle in retirement costs £59,000 pa for two after tax and assumes we are rent/mortgage-free. Quite a stretch?

Hey, I am looking for your questions around pensions for next week’s Money Box Live. Maybe you’re 18 and wondering what age to start, maybe you’re 50 and getting a bit anxious. Maybe you want to check your investments are ethical. Maybe something else entirely! Email me felicity.hannah@bbc.co.uk

It’s probably the same everywhere. The Council don’t unblock the drains on the road outside our house, so the rainwater doesn’t flow away.

I looked at the menu of a pub in Canary Wharf. On the vegan menu, the chips on the side option was greyed out.

The chips contained eggs 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
