I love it when kids magpie words and phrases from ages ago in the term and it catches you by surprise. In our Mayan stories, lots of ‘zigzag trees’ in the jungle ‘sway in the warm cinnamon breeze.’ 10 points if you know that reference! #UKEd #EduSkyPrimary

One of my fave things to do in class is ‘pick or flick poetry’. Grab a copy of The Works, choose a child and ask them to either pick a page number or flick the pages and say ‘stop’: read whatever poem you land on #UKEd #EduSkyPrimary
