I’m honored to be endorsed by the district’s current Rep. Margaret Croke, who is running for State Comptroller, and by local leaders like Alderman Brian Hopkins and Commissioner Precious Brady-Davis.

But so much of what we cherish is under threat. We need leaders who fight to protect our community. A representative who understands what makes our community special and who will fight to get things done for it.

I’m proud to be raising my two daughters in this community, and I’ve spent time listening to what our neighbors care most about – safety, affordability, schools, transportation, and standing up for our values.

My life has been about service to others – from my days in the Obama Administration to my serving on Local School Councils to my work with Hope Chicago helping low-income students change their life by attending college debt-free.

I’m running because I want to help build a Chicago where neighborhoods are safe, small businesses can grow, transit is world-class, and parents know their kids are getting the resources in schools to achieve their dreams.
