Fundamentally, I this paper has no labor market implications. They attempt to use a current photo to predict personality to predict past career/education success. To be useful, they would need to show that a past picture predicts future success. /2
Human capital—encompassing cognitive skills and personality traits—is critical for labor market success, yet the personality component remains difficult to measure at scale. Leveraging advances in artificial intelligence and comprehensive LinkedIn mi- crodata, we extract the Big 5 personality traits from facial images of 96,000 MBA graduates, and demonstrate that this novel “Photo Big 5” predicts school rank, com-pensation, job seniority, industry choice, job transitions, and career advancement. Us-ing administrative records from top-tier MBA programs, we find that the Photo Big 5 exhibits only modest correlations with cognitive measures like GPA and standardized test scores, yet offers comparable incremental predictive power for labor outcomes. Unlike traditional survey-based personality measures, which typically cover limited samples, the Photo Big Five is readily scalable and can broaden the scope of academic research. However, its use in labor market screening raises important ethical concerns regarding statistical discrimination and individual autonomy.

So pictures. The north playground is open already and looks pretty good. Its got no crossing needed access to low rise (4 story?) apartments to the west and walking distance to mid/high rise to the east with one nasty strode crossing. With the new park, you can bridge via station for free.

My version for the University of Arizona.
To President Suresh Garimella, I am a proud alumni with two degrees from the University of Arizona Eller College of Management and donor to the UA. I was horrified to learn that the University that I love has been offered a bribe to become an centre for state propaganda. This proposal would undermine the university by demanding that Trans students, among who I counted as friends at my time at UA, be banished from the university or face abuse by your hands. It would further destroy the university by establishing affirmative action by ideology and replace academic rigour and the pursuit of knowledge with censorship and state propaganda. This is similar to what happened in the Soviet Union. Stalin, like this administration, demanded that educational/research institutions hire and teach according to the beliefs of Trofim Lysenko, an evolution denying crank whose views were politically correct. Lysenko and others in Stalin's orbit used the power of the state to harass those who stood up for truth, science, and their fellow scientists. Great scientists, including Nikolai Vavilov, would be sent to prison camps where he and other died. The false science created by Lysenko and his followers helped to cause the Holodomor Genocide in Ukraine and after Lysenko's propaganda made its way to China it killed millions more through the Great Leap Forward. Are you a Vavilov or a Lysenko? Will you stand with the students, faculty, and community that are proud to call the University our own or will you dishonour the men of the USS Arizona by giving in to these unamerican demands?
