Important and welcome news from the PM that the Government is looking again at winter fuel payments. It's exactly what we have called for in recent months. The details will be crucial to ensure that many more older people will be eligible this winter.

Excellent day with our local partner @ageukoldham spending time with older people and visiting services. Truly delivering person centred support, as well as reducing hospital admissions, improving hospital discharge, and making a lot of people smile.

It’s good that more people are applying for pension credit but sadly not surprising that so many people are being rejected-we estimate there are over 1 million older people who really need this support but won’t be eligible. A review on this is needed. uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/pension-c…
