Tonight I have the pleasure of teaching the first class of Private International Law at U of T Law. I’ve taught this class several times, but not since the pandemic. Teaching is energizing, and infinitely more so in person than virtually!

(To be clear, although this is a joke, this is also why they’re historically successful!)

Today, I have a milestone birthday, where I enter a new decade of my life. In general, I don't attribute much significance to my birthday, but this one has caused me to reflect a bit more.
