On my venerable electric Giant, it required a great deal of effort to exceed 15.5 mph: the electric assist fell away but it felt as if the electric motor was providing resistance. Was doing sportives etc at the time so knew what was usually needed to ride at more than 15.5 mph on a non-powered bike.

Also feeling (albeit with no evidence) like Eurosport subscribers are expected to subsidise football packages.

It is very bad. I’ve cancelled my subscription. I only watch 2 sports - admittedly, a lot of which is cycling, the other xc skiing - but the new subscription is poor value.

I have just cancelled my Discovery Plus (ie Eurosport) subscription. The need to subscribe at for TNT at a substantial premium is poor value because I don’t watch, nor value, football.

ASO should not be the only ones to worry. The pro teams, too because the potential audience for the names of the sponsors will fall. Thus, less money into the sport.

Delighted that all having a good time but not this Paul Emerton at this event. Good tidings to all :)
