My almost constant companion since I came out of hospital. She is such a sweet natured and loving little thing. She has been wonderful but Mabel never poses for the camera 🤣

Eight years on and still miss our little man Charlie.
When we got him from the Rescue Home he had been abused and was the most scared little soul.
With immense patience and much love he turned into a contented little soul, always a bit scared but so loving.

I think we all need to make the effort to appreciate the little good things, even in difficult times.

It's to her we turn to intercede for us as Mother of us all.

Today, I remember all those who were former students of the Seminary I attended in Rome.
44 English martyrs were killed during the Catholic persecutions in post-reformation England and Wales. The day also marks the death of the College's first martyr, St. Ralph Sherwin, who was martyred in 1581.

It was very foggy driving across to Northwich but fortunately made myself a coffee before leaving! Train delayed, which always comes as a disappointment, if not a surprise, with Northern!
