At best, Elon seems immature in a way that is not beneficial to the academic disciplines of the Science. The behaviour of Elon reflects badly on those who associate with him. At worse, Mr. Musk is a fascist and/or Nazi.

I'd suggest that action on climate needs to be written more assertively into law and enforced. Permit businesses to thrive/produce, but in harmony with eco-protections.
