This the Jólakötturinn or Yule cat.
It is a huge and vicious cat from Icelandic Christmas folklore that is said to lurk in the snowy countryside during the Christmas season and eat people who do not receive new clothing before Christmas Eve 😳

I went to see The Beta Band at the Manchester Apollo on Saturday. They were quite incredible, like no other band, each a multi-instrumentalist seamlessly moving from guitar to drums to bass, percussion and back again. If you have the opportunity to see them, you should definitely go.
