Next Sunday is the Feast of the Presentation of Our Lord Jesus Christ. It commemorates the Holy Family’s obedience to Torah with the BVM’s purification 40 days after the Nativity of Our Lord and the dedication of the first born son at the temple (Lev. 12 and Ex. 13) recorded in Lk. 2.
