It’s almost as if the screen writer just didn’t get the point of the story. Maybe they thought it was all a bit dark so we’ll turn it into a buddy movie and kill off the baddy in the end.

It really is shite. And I don’t understand why they changed the ending. It changed the meaning of the story completely, and not in a good way. Also the executions were pure gore-porn.

Excellent picture. BTW Common Pochard and Redhead are very similar, but different, species. This is a Pochard!

Another excellent photo Ken, but also another incorrect ID 🤣. The raptor is a Black-breasted Snake Eagle. You’re good with the Pied Crow though!

Is she Brazilian? Great Kiskadee are common there.

The bird is most likely a Great Kiskadee, which is very much not a resident of Portugal. Is there an explanation of the piece?

Soldiers from many Gurkha regiments here. The only GWGC cemetery I’ve see without the big cross and sword, presumably for religious reasons
