🎥🎬 One of my favourite films of all time is The Return by renowned Russian filmmaker Andrey Zvyagintsev. I also appreciated his more understated 2011 film, Elena, which portrays the lengths a woman will go to protect her beloved son. ★★★☆☆ #MovieSky

Looking like Britain's #BlueIvy, 17-year-old Mia performs ‘Sinner, Please Don’t Let This Harvest Pass’ and Florence Price’s ‘Fantasie Nègre No.1 in E minor’ in the final of The Piano (S03E07) on channel4.bsky.social. #musicsky #musiciansky #classicalmusic #blacksky

You never get used to that slow descent, watching the landscape emerge below, feeling the terror and excitement of coming down to land in a new country. Can you guess where we are?

They say pigs are filthy creatures. But this family of three would rather splash about in the sea like holidaymakers with nothing on their minds but bathing, sun and saltwater. #animals #nature

Little Birdie singing like no one’s listening. But let’s be real — she’s probably telling her hubby to bring home some grub.

This kid (Marcus) talking about composing ‘Blue Haze’, inspired by Australia’s Blue Mountains, on The Piano is as extraordinary as watching him play it. If Chet Baker had played piano at 12, this is how it would sound — and look. I’m as excited as Jon Batiste to share it.

Finished watching #Adolescence, and honestly, it was a bit of a snooze 😴. The only scene that got to me was this one between Katie's best friend, Jane, and her teacher. Everything else seemed to sympathise with the killer. ⭐️⭐️✨☆☆ (2.5/5 stars) #DramaTalk #TVShows #KillerSympathy #LetsDiscuss

Alterations by Michael Abbensetts at the National Theatre is a poignant comedy set in 1970s London, following Guyanese tailor Walker Holt as he chases his dream of owning a shop, navigating ambition and personal sacrifices along the way. Worth seeing—still very relevant in today’s Britain. ★★★½☆

According to the UK government’s website, “major immigration legislation in 1962, 1968 and 1971 was designed to reduce the proportion of people living in the United Kingdom who did not have white skin.” So the Windrush Scandal is not a conspiracy, it’s not an accident, it's by design. #BlackSky
