Oh fuck off, dickhead.

Yes they are. I have to pay the licence fee if I want to watch ANY live TV, not just the BBC. If I want to watch Sky Sports, I have to pay the BBC first. Do you not know this? Would you be ok with being forced to buy something you didn't want from Tesco before being allowed to shop in Aldi?

Well of course it does, so I say I'm a giraffe it makes me one, yes? And no you couldn't, because they perform essential services. No-one died through not being able to watch BBC4. Anyway, are you willing to subsidize my sports channel subscriptions like I have to subsidize your BBC viewing or not?
November 11, 2025 at 11:42 AM
No, I don't read Labour List pieces for the same reasons I don't lick dog piss off nettles.

Oh look, the apologist for far-right racist Israeli hooligans is blaming Liverpool's problems on a Muslim. Whodathunkit?
November 11, 2025 at 11:34 AM
Yes, it's really not difficult, but as everyone in the media is paid not to see that, they don't.

The BBC isn't a PBS, it's a state broadcaster that throws a few cultural bones. If you want to watch it, you go ahead and pay for it. I don't want to and I don't see why I should subsidize your viewing so I can watch the rugby unless you're going to subsidize my sports channels subscription?

I've been posting about "face-eating leopards" a lot over the past few days. Sympathy for the BBC = 0.

No idea. Are there? The archive has some good stuff, but I haven't watched anything new apart from the odd bit of sport or music in years. Can't be arsed putting in the effort of watching something on the off chance it might be good as so much is drivel. Middle class mulch most of it.
November 10, 2025 at 9:24 PM
Yeah, what could POSSIBLY go wrong??
November 10, 2025 at 9:18 PM
Oh dear. Has someone in the goverment being going round Dickhead Park and shaking the trees again? Sounds like this one landed on his head.
November 10, 2025 at 8:21 PM
If it's so great, then why are BBC fans so terrified of it being paid for on a subscription model? Other than the thought that the rest of us who couldn't care less about it won't be subsidizing their shite TV programmes any more and so they'll have to pay the market rate, obviously
