Small note - listening to BtB and then "decoding the gurus" about Thiel already pretty firmly cemented the idea that he's dangerous, cunning in some ways but also extremely... deficient in others.

And can never be left alone to complete a task - you don't have a team member. You have a liability (and a seriously weak grasp on reality). LLMs are useful tools if used correctly, yadda yadda, great if used responsibly - but they're not "intelligent".

There are people who genuinely seem to think a fully fledged "intelligent" developer in a box is here and anyone who can code has NO EXCUSE to think that. It's delusional. Anyone who just read the marketing and hasn't coded in a professional setting can be excused BUT

It's an absolute tragedy. Not that I'd expect anything from someone who thinks Curtis Yarvin has interesting things to say about... Anything. How depressing.

Then he opens his mouth and what comes out is just uninspired pedestrian gobbledygook. For all his protofascist/essentialist millenarianism I've yet to hear Thiel say a single thing worth listening to. He doesn't even blend these ideologies well!
