I made exactly the same comment during the show. Most audiences show a hearty disapproval. I don't watch #bbcqt but I believe it's the same there. It was the complete opposite during the Brexit referendum. #bbcaq

I've listened to this show for 50+ years and I don't ever recall it being so desperate to include a particular party they had to include a 'board member'. #bbcaq

Can't be there but it would be good if you could film it for broadcast.

Amid all the mindless pontificating, it was inevitable we'd end up with nudge, nudge, wink wink, Keir Starmer was raising the temperature this week. Farage allowed to do it endlessly, but nobody must ever offer a response. #wato

You know it's been a disaster when Brexiters are forced to lie about the 'benefits'. The COVID vaccine rollout being a prime example.

Did they really mean insurrection?

Great post. I try to remain optimistic. The ultimate aim of the far right is the Americanisation of the UK, yet Trump is widely reviled in this country. I refuse to believe the British people wish to replicate the US's gun laws, the resulting school shootings and their crime stats in general.

Ditto. It's difficult to understand their obsessive affection for those that seek to defund and ultimately destroy them.

There seems to be no shortage of idiots willing to chuck shedloads of money at Robinson to fund his lifestyle.

The answer to the question 'who decides where the line is drawn' is obviously Nigel Farage. Freedom of speech is paramount unless somebody says something he doesn't like. #bbcaq

He's revealed himself countless times, especially on #newsnight. Still they invite him.

I thought Kent was still reeling from Brexit disruption, yet its residents have voted in what is still essentially the Brexit party. Baffling.

Montie specialises in making a fool of himself and wasted no time here. He seems to be telling us he went out canvassing for Reform telling people they have no policies to fix the country's problems. Well that's what he told us! #bbcaq

Huge problem with Sarah Montague's intro to this story. She says market chaos 'it seems' is caused by Trump's tariffs. Worse, quotes him saying 'billions from tariffs already flowing in from other countries'. Huge disservice to listeners not calling out that nonsense. #wato

According to BBC: The top 5 was cars, at £9.0bn, followed by medicinal and pharmaceutical products (£6.6bn), mechanical power generators (£4.6bn), scientific instruments (£2.4bn), and aircraft (£2.2bn).

They are also attempting to link it to the events at Southport, which also sets off a few klaxons.

It's a revelation on Trump/Ukraine, but he's a work in progress on the rest!

Strong agree.

They seem to have decided it's better to be on the same side as the overwhelming majority of the British public, although they can't resist nit-picking Starmer's every move.

You need to give your suppliers a call. They shouldn't make any sound.

Liar Johnson telling us to ignore the lies of fellow liar Trump. Despicable.
