I’m a bit bewildered by these upgrades at this stage. Searches take longer to work your way through, data that was transcribed is now lost, being able to search church registers separately to civil registers provided great flexibility, that’s now gone.

Well, I have to say I just don’t like the new site. Just did a quick check and there appears to be a bit of a data integrity issue. Checked for a 48 year old living in Common Street in 1911 and I’m getting her correct first name but a completely wrong surname. How many more are like this?

Claire, have you downloaded a csv file? I downloaded a sample and the image column just doesn’t seem to make sense from an end user perspective. A link back to the record transcription would be far more practical.

Great piece of mind to have, Helen. I had an angiogram a few years back now as there’s a history of strokes in the family and I wasn’t feeling so great. Got the all clear for 10 years.
