I see McCarthy as a bridge HC who's keeping the seat warm until the team lands its QBOTF. (And rebuilds its WR room?) Solid hire under that framework. I doubt the Steelers are that cynical, however.

Yep. I'm all for keeping the play, but it looks like the refs aren't able/willing to officiate it properly. That's a huge argument against it.

Nevertheless, the column has one glaring error. Here's what you wrote regarding the 16th ranked 2022 Chiefs: "Facing an excellent Eagles team that came close to qualifying for this list...." Bill, you ranked the 2022 Eagles just one spot lower than those Chiefs.
