Life is full of highs and lows, but today I want to share a highlight that truly made my heart soar.

Someone sent me a photo of "Be A Creative Changemaker" on display at the Tate Modern and I couldn’t be more honored! 🥰

This International Women's Day, let's celebrate the many incredible women artists whose stories have too often been overlooked in art curriculums. In writing "Be a Creative Changemaker" I wanted to highlight a few of these groundbreaking creatives. Out of the 25 artists featured, 17 are women.

I always believed in the idea of being the change I wished to see in the world. I assumed we were all naturally moving toward a more just and equitable future. But the truth is, change doesn’t just happen. We must make it happen.

What are your favorite strategies and resources for teaching media literacy?

Over the past year, I’ve noticed a significant increase in AI-generated images and the spread of fake news, especially on Meta platforms. Since the inauguration, right-wing propaganda posts have become more prevalent in my social media feeds on Instagram and TikTok.

Do NOT comply in advance. They are hoping that fear and intimidation will silence us into submission. We must stand together united, speak up and take action! 2/2
