I will be posting portrait pictures to prompt portrait poems. Let this be the bluesky of imagination.
This photo is featured in my book "Portrait Poetry," - my @huntingtonarts.bsky.social '24 SCR-NYSCSA grant project. It accompanies the poem: "Dear California Juniper." Find the book at: a.co/d/fpzcD8q

As an #Ekphrasticpoetry or #Journalprompt
What words would you write to accompany this picture?

From a trip to southern Oregon taken some time ago.
Every street made it difficult to know - do we take Barclay Drive or Barclay Court? Believe it when I say --- there was even a Barclay Circle, and a Barclay Way!

- Photos are great for #writingprompts and #Journalingprompts

I took this photo of Director Gregory Cioffi and Cinematographer Tom Flynn on set at Hempstead Lake State Park, NY, when we were filming Poetry In Motion.

We're re-screening Poetry In Motion at 2 pm, May 17th, 2025, at LIU's Hillwood Commons Theatre. Join us!

Another appropriate BLUESKY photo! It was taken in Long Beach, NY, and published in my PORTRAIT POETRY book of poems and photos. It's a giant foot walking through the clouds and stepping on a rainbow. I call it THE GOD PARTICLE. (Here is the link to the book on Amazon a.co/d/fz49Jtv )
