I'm just me. Married, mom to 3 fur babies (2 chocolate dabble mini Dachshunds and an 18 year old gray tabby), have a ceramic business (Paula's Ceramic Pantry), and bake and cook from scratch. Oh yea, I'm a retired criminal justice professor.
My youngest doxie just came over and wanted on my lap. I'm painting, getting ready for a craft show on the 22nd. Love my Posie Ann, also my Mocha Lou and SassyMae.

I'm hanging in there. What is really scary is I'm dealing with a serious health issue. No answers yet waiting for the ultrasound and blood work. David and I are worried.

So you wish to forsake those of us who live in red state and worked our backside off to fight an uphill battle. I have to ask why we worked so hard, gave everything, had our hearts broken. It seems like we are just collateral damage.

I have done laundry and made bacon potato soup. Half the dishes are done. Now I'm sitting in my recliner listening to music with a cup of hot tea and two of my three fur babies on my lap.

We also have an advantage plan. They raised the co-pay on my heart mess by $15 a month. We were caught completely off guard.

Hubby has our hoses drained and coiled under the carport. He will get them out tomorrow or Monday because he is going to pour. Hopefully I can start glazing and painting soon. Stay warm. Time for another cup of tea.

Those of us with chronic health issues (diabetes, asthma, arthritis, heart just to name a few) are very worried and concerned. I'm having breakfast tomorrow morning at a friend's. This is a monthly gathering of a small group of democrats in our community. The conversation will be interesting.
