Our late corgi was having some spine problems one year when we were traveling. We got the strangest looks and snarky comments in NYC (my hometown where people carry healthy little dogs in purses), but she got so much love in Savannah. BTW, the spine issues cleared up and she was free to waddle again

We don’t have a grey Frannie, but we have a grey Berwick. She is not one of Frankie’s siblings, she is my son’s partner’s cat and Frankie is a little obsessed with her.

We have a matching Frankie! He is a dapper gentleman who enjoys bow ties. We adopted him and his brother and sister six years ago.

It was assigned reading in grade 10, again in Freshman year of college, then I read it again in my early 20s for myself. Each time I got something new out of it. And then I read all of his published works. F Scott Fitzgerald finds the flaws in the beauty, the foibles of humanity and loves it all.
