Someone needs to really get a grip on BBC news to re-establish values, priorities and reintroduce a bias towards understanding and explanation. Too much like a tabloid comic now.

The real problem with TV news and the associated websites is that the BBC amongst others still allow their news agenda to be set by newspapers which have a tiny readership compared to the pre-internet era and are predominantly right-wing.

I seem to remember that level of education was the best predictor of voting in the Brexit referendum. Obviously there is a correlation between age and education but some statisticians attempted to account for that.
