I'm just this guy, you know.
The ships have a sense of humour, though! I used to love to chuckle at their names.

It's the fact that the last time this happened was less than two decades ago, and we are still in the aftermath of that time that is really annoying. It's not even a generational memory yet.

I'm getting really annoyed with Kevin the Carrot's wedding.

Hm "beetlejuice principle" and "thank you for your attention to this matter" were the highlights for me. (I hate that I actually know how he signs off his psuedotweets)

Brexit was fantasy politics that didn't add up. That didn't stop Cameron, Johnson and the entire political establishment taking it seriously for the last decade though. If enough people vote Green, the "serious" people will have to pay attention.

Good God, X is maybe the only thing deader than Liz Truss's credibility.

There were people I saw blaming Daniel Craig for this "problem" yesterday. Like he had written the script himself for No Time To Die, or insisted on them killing him off at the end or he wouldn't come back. Maybe he did - but it's still not a real problem.

You're basically trying to defend Maya Forstater having her opinion printed any time a trans character is depicted in a drama as a perfectly reasonable thing, use "gender identity ideology" and "trans identified people" unironically. Why do you think anyone should give a shit what you say?

I think this is one of the first things that genuinely made me laugh about the recent BBC situation.

Why are people talking like this is an impossible conundrum? I'm not even that big a James Bond fan, and I noticed that Daniel Craig's Bond rebooted the character back to "before he got his 00 licence" and basically redid the storyline of OHMSS where his wife died.

Honestly, in the stuff about that situation, I was left scratching my head as to what relevance "women only spaces" had to do with TV quizzes like Only Connect and Mastermind.

At this point, Lisa Nandy has troubles of her own for lying about that Macabees match and what the West Midland Police said to her. And that's if she wasn't already useless before this.

Yes, it's a good piece. I saw a piece from the Metro before I looked on Bluesky today which seemed to be about calls for Robbie Gibb to go gathering steam within the BBC.

"According to a Times of London article, the BBC is biased against Israel; therefore, it has a left bias."

Hm - if they are including this kind of thing in their analysis, maybe the problem is finding enough non-right wing sources to balance out the anti-BBC bias in the first place.

When you say "you" are you confusing me with the other person who made the point? If you are going to link to an article about "appeal to emotion" I think you'd better worry about the beam in your own eye first.
