Recently started watching a Vincent Price cooking show “Cooking Price-Wise”…. for real! It was evidently shown in the UK in 1971, on Tuesday’s at 11.15pm! The episodes on “Potatoes”, “Bacon”, & “Rice” confirm it is as outrageous as it sounds!

#NowSpinning a couple of #classical standards: Pictures at an exhibition & The Firebird. I have a memory of playing “The Great Gates of Kiev” from Pictures when I was in the Leicestershire Schools Training Orchestra in the mid 70s! Never got in the top orchestra, but was once conducted by Tippett!

Embryo was also on the EMI Harvest sampler "Picnic" in 1970. But Pink Floyd hadn't given permission for the track to be used, so the album got pulled, making it one for the collectors. Def worth listening to bootlegs from 70/72 to hear how the track was expanded live.
