We'd all benefit from cleanup.expand.polish semver style gaining widespread adoption
A minor version bump (new features) **should be** more interesting than a major version bump (breaking changes).

v2.4.0 -> Super cool new capability!
v3.0.0 -> Drop Node.js 16
v3.1.0 -> Another cool feature!

As a result, Rolldown is now the fastest possible bundler you can run in the browser. Here are the numbers when bundling a benchmark app with 2.5k modules:

- esbuild: 22.19s
- Vite (via Rollup): 4.52s
- Rolldown: ⚡️613.43 ms

In the remote times it's super nice to just meet in person from time to time and brainstorm stuff. Getting to know people closer makes future collaboration so much easier!

If you, by any chance, are not using @vitest.dev then you're missing a great deal! Definite top 1 JS testing framework. Follow their exceptional work here 🦋 👀

Thank you for your support! We just reached 10% of our followers in X in less than 10 days 🤯

It would be pretty encouraging for other OSS projects, if somehow all the tests-loving devs in bluesky would follow us and we end up with more followers than in X in a month instead of four years 👀
From now on, we'll use our @bsky.app account as our main feed for Vitest updates. vitest.dev and GitHub have been updated; you won't find any X links there. Let's do Open Source in an Open Source social network 🦋

sadly, when I mention Bluesky to people they ask if it's some kind of trolling, as on the main Discovery page they see mangas and weird stuff which I didn't even see here 😅 @danabra.mov maybe some tweak in the discovery algorithm for not logged-in users to make it less of a shock for newcomers?

😮 Bluesky pro-tip: in the accessibility settings, you can enforce that the images you post must have alt text.

This is important for folks who use screen readers. Instead of seeing the image, the supplied text will be read to them instead.

Just watched Dan's talk. That's a nice intro of what we're dealing with here! The AT protocol sounds like a very cool path for modern and open communication
danabra.mov dan @danabra.mov · Oct 21
now might be a good time to plug the talk i gave last month about the AT Protocol. it’s about the relationship between the user and the product, about the shape of the web, and a bit about death
