And I think that's kinda the choice the culture has largely given them.

The ideal answer is obviously getting people to sink less of themselves in the internet, but I think we can all agree that's simply not going to happen.

Knowing that, we've got to give young people (men in particular, since they're the most radicalized *and* dangerous) better role models.

Both men and women need to rise above it and actively reject the otherization of each other by focusing more on the wonderful ppl of both genders around them instead of the random guy/gal that said some horrible thing for likes

Honestly, I don't fully blame them. Evolution has primed our subconscious to see women as things to be coveted and men as possible threats. It's just that social media now provides an echo chamber that makes that latent tension palpable and seems to be escalating it into some kind of gender war
