OK, take two on the cranberry jalapeño sauce. Thank you Trader Joe's for the non-bug cranberries! I did quadruple wash them for good measure and used a brand new bag of sugar to be extra safe. And I simmered them a little longer to make it less chunky this year.

Nena and I took the ferry from Coronado to Broadway Pier and walked down to Seaport Village this afternoon. One of our favorite tourist activities to do in our beautiful city. It was a perfect San Diego day!

OMG lovelies! My brother-in-law bought a "Die Hard" advent calendar. Hans Gruber falls a storey every day! 😂😂😂💀

Let the "Die Hard" is a Christmas movie melee begin!

@kinspire2.bsky.social this is what I'm talking about. And a lot of the areas shown here are vibrant, multi-cultural neighborhoods that have been massively gentrified.

I miss him so much, and missed him for about two years before he passed. It's true that sometimes two people who love each other just can't be together. At least not in this life. So, like I said when he passed, "Save me a seat at your table, R, for when we meet again." 🙏🏼❤️‍🩹🕊

You have a Golden?! They are so precious. My heart dog was a Golden. Don't tell Dexter and Abbie, but Cilla has been gone for almost 9 years and I still miss her dearly. This was her favorite place to lie her head while I was pregnant with Nena. 💖✨️

You can't see it in this photo, but the line to vote at my town's little library stretches around the corner and down the very busy street! And people are honking as they drive by. Let's go, California!

In Old Town for the Día de los muertos celebration, but first we had to eat!

staring at the same stars and planets. Then I got older and my love never went away, but spooky stories about abductions came out, and I was terrified.

Video is from a little while ago. Probably a plane very high up, but my thoughts were, "keep going, neighbors. You don't want to be here." 😂

Now the LA Times is also running the story about the military parade on the 5 freeway planned for this weekend. Note that military ordinances being fired from Navy ships is a "concern" and not yet confirmed from what I've read so far.

Gracias, Benito por tu amor por nuestra patria. Thank you, Benito, for your love of our homeland. You really are out there healing the hearts of the first generation, and hopefully, of those who left as well.

Milo Manheim as Peter and Raúl Esparza as Pontius Pilate were equally fantastic! Again, no photos or video because I was really trying to just enjoy the fantastic performances.

Great cast and a wonderful performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber's classic. At the end of the show he was there, too.

Josh Gad was to play King Herod, but got sick, so John Stamos filled in. His performance was great and comical! And the crowd ate it up.
