Not its intention. The music is the story. Its clearly not a documentary film; liberties are taken to create a dramatic narrative. There are several Dylan documentaries and many detailed books to know things. This film makes you feel things.

Why does every activity with kids involve a drink and a snack? As a child, I played outside all day without either thing. Maybe a sip from a public water fountain in the park or a neighbor's hose. My friends and I must have been delirious from dehydration when we did things we weren't supposed to.

Have enjoyed seeing these posts. Glad you are not removing them. Just joined Blue Sky. Frankly, not very intuitive how to engage in threads here. But it has been fun to browse these book choices. I've added to my need to read list for sure. I'm done with mine. Now I don't know what to post here.

My dad and I read and discussed this series together when I was a teen. It was a bonding experience for sure.

Both my children would giggle and laugh with me as we read this book over and over again. Grover is so funny!

Me too! I enjoyed skimming through them again in the summer when my youngest daughter found my box of them when cleaning out her closet. I remembered the plots so vividly of the first 15 volumes

One of the reasons I posted this was that I believe my life long love of book characters and story telling began with this series. I felt like I knew these friends. I eagerly waited for the next book and re-read the ones I liked best many times

I have not gotten to that one. Will put that on my list to read.❤
