I spoke to former Treasury and OMB officials, and they said Elon Musk accessing government payment systems could give him the power to selectively turn off payments. They described what this really means in very clarifying terms. See below:

Sadly, it's not an unexpected outcome. However, the resolution you've put forth and the Senate Republicans block is now part of our national history. The shame is on them, and the optics of the pardon approvals. Thanks for trying.

True. Now 3 R's have written a bill to end vote by mail in WA. They don't cite any fraud in their justification.
