Something I noticed that I didn't include that I'm very proud of is our patio that I did myself - actual on the left, inspiration on the right. :)

Still some work to do but finally feeling proud to own this thing, haha.

Color was finally chosen, lol

October 2024 - We’ve come a long way to this point… color 🙏

First group of trim has been delivered, primed, and attached. Priming and caulking almost finished up too. Painting of colors hopefully coming in the springtime (it would end up being in the fall, lol classic). 🥲

95% finished front siding repair. Pretty fun looking at this after I haven't looked at this photo in over a year haha

August 2022, We’re finally back! Funny, the project (removing the front siding) I’ve wanted to do the most, is the last to happen. Honestly, we’d resigned that nothing would be under the siding on the front of the house, but can’t tell you how cool it is to see all this.

Our first round of inspirations for paint... that we ended up not going with, lol.

Years after posting this... Its fun seeing this patio unfinished like this... no matter what I do I always get a dip in that hole, lol

Funny little thing going on right now. TGS was built on caves, coal and clay mines, cisterns, brewery cellars, etc. Trying to figure out what this is this over the next few weeks (spoiler: its a cistern)

Cool trim stuff

Interior still has a few things that need to be tightened up but my wife is good at her job 🤗🤗🤗

Here’s some detail shots.

On the interior side of things we actually just finished up the new main staircase. We had a brilliant builder who I would never recommend to anyone, lol. Quite a mess, but we got our stair in. 😁

Started working on the siding in the Spring. Some repair to the rear suite (still have some original siding on there) and the two worst sides (south and east) got a full replacement.

1 year later - we couldn’t save the section leaning into the alley. It was Demo’d sadly along with the concrete cellar that was under it... but it was aided and is looking much better these days.
