In our house it definitely involved a lot of crying and everyone just preferred snuggles so we just leaned in, we even had a little safer sleep bassinet in the bed.

Both kids coslept with us till they were about 3-4. We didn’t plan it that way but we all needed snuggles and I couldn’t handle sleep training. Do what’s best for your family.

In NYC 20 years ago you could get a room in a divided loft in Williamsburg for less than $800 a month. The same room would cost $1600 now. Salaries have not doubled.
