I don't believe anyone can get out of the '28 GOP primary if they're actively antagonistic to Trump. She'd have to come back and lick his boots. Which she might! Elon did!

To be more specific, I live in Culver City (a west LA suburb), and our current population is the exact same as it was in 1980... because that's when Culver City stopped allowing apartment construction.
We did not, in fact, manage to build plenty of housing, Dean. Big fan, but hard disagree here.

Saw him speak at a fundraiser when he was first running for Sen-AZ. I was prepared to be scintillated, and he was... eh, fine. He got my money, but I def. *didn't* think: this guy's an unstoppable force. But, sure, I'd be happy to vote for him.

Indeed, no city that artificially limits housing construction, relative to demand, will be safe from the rent increases that predictably result.

It seems, to me, that the statement that DSA members are inherently illiberal-- which you imply to be beyond debate-- is in fact very debatable. But you don't appear to have much appetite for said debate atm. And honestly, me neither! So let's just have a nice weekend.
