Really good example of trying to foster AI doomerism in the comments I was describing. Even IF all of that is true (it's not, but sure), I can't stand the attitude of, well, since you *must* use X that's ethically compromised, you might as well just give up on everything! Just begging for a pass

It's really fascinating seeing the back and forth of splitting hairs people are making in the CSB youtube comments about how it's not GenAI, it's actually just feeding VA into TTS and that's totally different, when the game has this disclaimer on its page.

Went to stream Tormented Souls only to encounter this softlock which was added to the game today, knowingly, as part of a patch that went out right before I started. The solution is to redo an area that takes nearly an hour and hope it works. Alternative if that fails roll the patch back. Fuck.
