While Yates and Patty Cook are both leading their races, St. George’s Home Rule Charter - which they both endorse - is not doing well.
If it fails, it could take at least 3 years until another charter is able to get on the ballot.

There are a few dozen cops and close to the same number of library supporters here waiting for tonight’s Metro Council meeting to start at 4 pm.
On the agenda is a library millage renewal. Last week the mayor proposed rededicating library funds for BRPD raises.
