Some books are a lifetime journey. Mine began with a dissertation, became Uno sguardo a Sud, and now Reframing Naples: The South in Global Perspective. Grateful for all who supported me, and for Iain Chambers’s foreword and @julianagyeman.bsky.social Julian Agyeman’s afterword.

I was honored to be recognized on April 23rd by the president, board, and members of the Italian American association “Sarasota Italian Cultural Events” (SICE). The support of women, and of people like them, has made a true difference in my life.

Pope Francis will be deeply missed. He was a powerful and outspoken advocate for climate action describing environmental destruction as a “structural sin.”
Grazie Papa Francesco. 🤍🤍
