Deputy AG Blanche said civil rights laws “have been misapplied for a very long time” and Republicans at times over the past 20 years haven’t “used those tools in a way that we should.” Said “what we’re doing is we’re using our civil rights laws to actually enforce the civil rights of all Americans.”
