High use of adjuncts is a sad reality but don't then claim any moral ground about society while all benefits and security derive from it. Be humble and accept your privilege and pray for those on medi-cal and state benefits who are barely making it who make your privilege possible

Absolutely. And I feel the tension myself about why I'm here. But I'm terrible at branding so I'll try to lean into caring. It's the better way. But doesn't get me book contracts...

We really do need a forum where people aren't pre-spoiled by media caricatures and loud zealots making folks think they know what the other side believes. Caricatures of opponents are better at helping us feel more righteous and avoid our own crap, though.

I'm more on the conservative side and just signed up. The trouble with both what I've seen here and experienced there I find, is people don't really want to listen to other perspectives, they want to be affirmed in their own righteousness and echo chamber perspectives.
