Absolutely. I'm a professional pet sitter with my own business and I love that 99% of my clients over all these years have rescue dogs or cats.

I hope so. He is nonverbal, but also has IDD (intellectual disability disorder). He can communicate some through pictures on his Proloquotogo program on his Ipad, but mostly those are for him to tell us what he wants. He prefers dad though; I'm the persistent parent. LOL.

How kind of you to say. He was a mess--trying to bite your feet/legs when you were trying to walk. Ignoring did not work. (That is what we did/do with behavior from my child with autism--ignore unwanted behavior). My friend gave me the name of someone he trusts near me, and we had 1:1 sessions.
