I'm still having fun, but trying to get my head into what I expect Indy to be like. As a game it's a really great creation.

A number of artists and creators have made their home on Bluesky, and we hear their concerns with other platforms training on their data. We do not use any of your content to train generative AI, and have no intention of doing so.

Heretic II 25th: Coming out of the concept phase, we printed up a mini-storybook to send to executives at Activision. A bit cheesy but it shows how amped we were about what we were making. You can read the whole thing here: www.patricklipo.com/2023/11/24/h...

Heretic II 25th: We managed to get Brom to provide the cover art, so marketing mocked up boxes using various bits of his original art to whet appetites. I still like the tagline "Welcome to your new religion". #gamedev #thirdperson #quake 3/4

Heretic II 25th: My fine compatriot and Project Lead Brian Pelletier gave me this fine original pencil sketch concept of Corvus when I departed Raven Software many years later. It was a really amazing gift, and means a lot to me. #gamedev 2/4

Thanks, it's nice to have my stuff remembered! I see enough folk drop out of the industry that yeah I do feel a bit of a... rarity? Or maybe because it took a lot less people and time to make a game back then. :-)

Finally made it! I'm Patrick, most recently Lead Designer at Harebrained Schemes, working on my car combat roguelike Auto Fire between gigs. Been in the industry for juuuust over 30 years now... Made a number of boomer shooters but would like to think that the real golden age is still now?
